Introducing...  Carolyn Manchester

Location:    At the moment Green River, Wyoming. Permanent home Starks, LA
Date of Amputation/Cause:   Amputation April 1983. In 1975 I received experimental treatment for my cancer (epitheliod sarcoma) located in my left forearm and wrapped around the ulna nerve. Treatment was chemo and radiation. I also had a bone graft and a skin graft. After I broke the bone graft and plate, a second bone graft was done in 1983. The second bone graft did not heal. A biopsy showed the cancer had returned. So my left arm was amputated above the elbow. No cancer cells were located above the elbow.
Prosthesis:    I have one, but I never use it
