Introducing... Donald Welch

Location:    Zhengzhou , China / Formerly of Southeast Texas .
Date of Amputation/Cause:    I was involved in a boating accident in April, 1990. The mast of the sailboat I was on struck a 7,200 power line while coming ashore. I was holding onto the mast at the time and received much damage to the arm as well as multiple other injuries caused by the subsequent electrocution.
Prosthesis:    None, not enough residual arm for an effective socket.
Amp Events Attended: None
Other Information:  I am married with two grown daughters each of whom have blessed us with grandaughters.  We currently live in Zhengzhou (say-jung joe) in the Peoples Republic of China . Two years ago we closed the doors to our successful Administrative Consulting business and moved to China where we now teach Western Business Practices at the Henan University of Technology.
